fragrance
From Coverpla’s catalog, the brand chose the Urban bottle in a 100ml format combined with a black Saxon cap and the Sensea pump and pump cover, which appealed thanks to their fine, even spray pattern.

When Bruno Mocher decided to revolutionize the fragrance world by launching a perfume for our furry friends, he left nothing down to chance. He wanted luxury, more luxury and nothing but luxury! Working with the famous house of Galimard in Grasse for the scent itself, he discovered in Coverpla a partner capable of offering him a combination of bottle, cap and pump with a true identity. This is a story of exceptional luxury whose target is just as much the owner as his or her canine companion.

An expert in hair-care distribution, one day Bruno Mocher came up with the idea of creating a fragrance for dogs, a niche, ultra-luxury product that was nevertheless accessible. “Until now, there were only sprays presented in simple bottles that were nothing special,” Bruno explains. “My idea was to target France’s nine million dog owners, of whom 7% spend as much as 3,000 euros a month on so-called ‘leisure’ products,” he says. He chose Galimard for the fragrance itself and Coverpla for the packaging solution.

A minimal shape and a delicate fragrance

Delphine Mocher, Bruno’s sister, worked with Galimard on the choice of a light, elegant, alcohol-free fragrance without an overbearing scent. From Coverpla’s catalog, the brand chose the Urban bottle in a 100ml format combined with a black Saxon cap and the Sensea pump and pump cover, which appealed thanks to their fine, even spray pattern.

“For this development, we respected the codes of high-end perfumery with sophisticated, contemporary packaging that is both beautiful and practical,” says Sébastien Saussereau, Coverpla’s director.

Bruno Mocher concludes, “The scenario of Dog de Lux has been illustrated by the meeting of our family-owned company and the different players in the value chain who rose to meet every challenge. Coverpla in this instance acted as a technical and creative partner, with enthusiasm and flexibility.”
