The Mettler-Toledo food safety and inspection webinar for India is just two days away on Thursday afternoon 5 October 2023, at 3pm India time. As of Monday morning we have received more than 250 registrations for this complimentary event and opportunity to be up-to-date on inspection in food production and packaging.

Minimizing risks in food safety

Among the increasing number of challenges for today’s food manufacturers, one of the most important is to provide safe products to the end consumer and take the necessary steps to minimize the risk of hazards leading to product recalls. In the event of a recall, legal investigation, or an audit from food safety authorities, manufacturers must be able to provide the necessary documentary evidence to prove that they have been diligent in mitigating risks of contamination and/or mislabeling in the production process.

This webinar will cover the concept of due diligence as it relates to product inspection processes and covers legal requirements and standards as well as product recalls. The live webinar will be presented by Mr. Siddharth Kachroo, Head of Sales, Mettler-Toledo Product Inspection, India. He will link up with Mr. Adam Green, Market Manager, Mettler-Toledo Safeline X-ray in the UK who will give a live virtual demo of the latest in x-ray innovation.

Ms. Nidhi Agarwal, Technical and Regulatory Affairs at Reliance Consumer Products will address the Indian FSSAI regulations and compliance regime. The webinar will be moderated by Naresh Khanna, editor of Packaging South Asia and IndiFoodBev.
