GreenPod Home from Ahlstrom

Ahlstrom, a global leader in fiber-based specialty materials, has claimed to have launched an innovative solution for the coffee pod market, GreenPod Home, which has received the official OK compost HOME certification from TÜV Austria. 

The certification confirms that GreenPod Home range can break down and biodegrade in domestic conditions, leaving no toxic residues or persistent microplastics behind. It enables converters and brand owners to develop GreenPod solutions that consumers can compost at home. 

The GreenPod Home portfolio will be compatible with all common converting lines and will offer optimal brewing performance.
