SNT

SNT International, a label solutions provider, recently installed a Domino K600i Monochrome Digital Printer, enhancing its speed and efficiency that had become a bottleneck before the installation. The company, founded in 1997 in Noida, has evolved from its origins in steel trading and started manufacturing labels for various industries. It has gained recognition for delivering quality labels to diverse industries, particularly electronics.

Its clientele grew, and so did the production challenges. Thermal Transfer Overprinters (TTO), which had once sufficed, could no longer keep pace with the high-volume orders SNT International was receiving. Faced with delayed and canceled orders, it became clear that the existing technology was no longer sufficient to meet demand.

Challenges with TTO and the impact on business

For years, TTO printers were the backbone of SNT’s production, but the increasing size of orders soon overwhelmed the system’s capacity. Production lines faced bottlenecks, and the team was often forced to work overtime to meet deadlines. As delays piled up, customer satisfaction faltered, and business opportunities were lost.

“We were under constant pressure,” Praneesh Rattan Bhardwaj, director, explains. “With each passing order, we faced the risk of delays. The TTO printers simply couldn’t match the speed and volume we required. This caused missed opportunities and revenue losses. It became clear that we needed a faster, more efficient solution to keep up with demand.”

Recognizing the need for change, SNT International set out to explore alternatives. After evaluating various technologies, the team found Domino’s K600i Monochrome Digital Printer to be the perfect fit. Domino offered exactly what SNT needed — speed, reliability, and the ability to handle variable data printing (VDP) with ease. The K600i not only promised to resolve their current production woes but also aligned with Domino’s ethos of ‘Do More.’

“Domino’s K600i exceeded our expectations,” Bhardwaj said. “We needed a solution that would allow us to handle larger volumes and reduce downtime, and Domino delivered on that promise. The K600i has given us the speed and flexibility to meet our growing demands, and, quite literally, it has allowed us to do more.”

Delivering more faster

The installation of the Domino K600i brought an immediate and transformative impact on SNT’s production line. Jobs that once took days to complete could now be delivered in record time.

“As the festival time in India is coming closer, we recently completed a 6-lakh-label order in a few hours and we could have done more but the order size restrained us,” Bhardwaj says. “With the TTO system, that would have been impossible. Now, we are not just keeping up with demand; we are exceeding expectations. Domino has given us the ability to take on bigger projects and deliver results faster than we ever could before.”

With the K600i, SNT’s ability to do more has redefined its place in the market. The printer’s speed, combined with its seamless integration into the existing workflow, has allowed the team to complete jobs well ahead of schedule further cementing SNT’s reputation.

Looking ahead with Domino

With their production challenges now behind them, SNT International is well-positioned to scale further. The K600i has provided the operational freedom to pursue larger and more complex orders. Additionally, Domino’s exceptional support throughout the process has solidified a partnership that SNT plans to build on.

“The Domino K600i has fundamentally changed how we do business,” Bhardwaj emphasized. “We have been able to streamline our operations and get back control over our production schedules. Moving forward, we’re excited to explore additional features like interchangeable ink systems for even greater flexibility.”

With the Domino K600i, SNT International has set new standards for speed, efficiency, and reliability in variable data printing, remaining a step ahead in a highly competitive market.
