Nucan by Nath Udyog and digital packaging specialist Stark Packmate jointly showcased a range of packaging solutions at CMPL 2026, highlighting the growing convergence of sustainable paper-based packaging and digitally printed flexible packaging for emerging consumer brands.

Sharing a stand at the exhibition, the two companies presented complementary offerings spanning composite paper containers, paper tube packaging, flexible pouches, labels, shrink sleeves and packaging mock-ups, targeting sectors including FMCG, cosmetics, nutraceuticals, healthcare, fragrances and food products.

Nucan, the packaging division of Nath Udyog, showcased its expertise in manufacturing paper tubes, paper tube boxes and composite containers. According to information displayed at the exhibition, the company was established in 1982 in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and has more than four decades of experience in the paper packaging industry.

The company highlighted its manufacturing capabilities for paper tubes ranging from 13 mm to 406 mm in diameter and thicknesses from 1 mm to 15 mm. It also displayed composite containers with tin or plastic top and bottom components, available in diameters ranging from 25 mm to 150 mm. Nucan additionally offers paper tube boxes with curled edges in sizes ranging from 20 mm to 125 mm in diameter.

At the stand, the company emphasized its turnkey solutions for paper tube and paper tube box manufacturing, including in-house assembly, finishing and quality control services. Other value-added offerings include specialized coating and grinding of paper tubes, seamless paper tube boxes and food-grade packaging formats.

Nucan’s display also highlighted its investment in manufacturing infrastructure, including paper slitters, automatic paper can seaming machines, spiral winders, automatic labelers, automatic curling machines, automatic re-cutters and an automatic paper tube box production line. The company serves a wide range of industries, including printing and labeling, cosmetics and beauty, incense and fragrances, FMCG, health and wellness, cosmeceuticals and textiles.

Complementing Nucan’s paper-based packaging portfolio, Stark Packmate presented its digital packaging solutions under four key categories: pouches, labels, shrink sleeves and mock-ups. Product samples included stand-up pouches, spout pouches, pillow pouches, three-side-seal pouches and centre-seal side-gusset pouches, demonstrating the flexibility of digital printing for short-run and customized packaging applications.

The company also showcased an extensive range of label solutions, including tube labels, pressure-sensitive labels, matte labels, holographic labels and clear-on-clear labels. In the shrink-sleeve segment, it highlighted full-body decoration and 360-degree branding capabilities designed to enhance shelf impact across beverage, food, personal care and nutraceutical products.

A major focus of Stark Packmate’s presentation was the use of digital printing to reduce packaging development costs and speed up product launches. The company promoted benefits such as zero cylinder costs, low minimum order quantities, rapid turnaround times, vivid color reproduction and end-to-end support from concept development to final production.

The mock-up section featured prototype packaging designed to closely replicate final production packs, allowing brand owners to evaluate designs, conduct market testing and secure approvals before committing to commercial-scale manufacturing.
