Cassio Simões, the new managing director of Tetra Pak, will be based in Chakan, Pune.

Tetra Pak, a leading food processing and packaging solutions company, has announced the appointment of Cassio Simões as managing director of its South Asia Markets. He will be based in Chakan, Pune.

Simões will take over the role from 1 June, 2023, succeeding Ashutosh Manohar who will retire following a career of over four decades, including a 20-year stint at Tetra Pak.

Cassio held various roles across different businesses at Tetra Pak over the past 20 years. Most recently, he was managing director of Tetra Pak Andina. With a strong track record of helping customers innovate for growth, his expertise will be instrumental in driving the company’s growth and expansion in the South Asia region, which includes India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan.
