Highcon Systems, a provider of digital finishing systems for folding cartons and corrugated packaging and display converters, will return to CCE International in Munich, Germany from 14-16 March 2023.
At stand #2624, Highcon will demonstrate through customer examples, how digital finishing can help converters and brands grow their businesses — boosting efficiency and capacity while reducing environmental impact not only in production but through the supply chain.
With sustainability a significant issue on the world’s agenda, Highcon will use its platform at CCE to showcase how digital finishing supports the environment with no compromise to the look and feel of the end product — or the consumer experience.
Visitors to CCE will learn how Highcon’s digital cutting and creasing systems address the demands on folding carton and corrugated packaging converters for faster turnarounds, inventory reduction, improved efficiencies, and reduction of bottlenecks.
Highcon systems include AI-driven imposition software, enabling ganging of multiple jobs on one digital die to take full advantage of digital manufacturing capabilities to streamline workflow for short and medium runs.
“We look forward to using CCE to demonstrate our vision for a successful and dynamic digital manufacturing strategy,” said Jürgen Freier, general manager, and VP Sales at Highcon Europe. “The enthusiastic response from industry leaders, and repeat sales from existing customers, demonstrate that our systems are meeting critical market needs in packaging and display production. We are excited to lead the market in this finishing revolution creating real-time supply chains to further drive growth and boost profit margins,” said Freier.
Highcon’s Jürgen Freier will present case studies from packaging and display converters that are utilizing Highcon’s digital cutting and creasing systems to drive production efficiencies and capacity, while reducing their environmental impact – not only in production, but throughout the supply chain.
Jürgen Frier will provide a joint presentation with Michael Weber, director Corporate Strategy and Marketing, Thimm Group, on its ‘Internet of Packs’ — a vision that encompasses no lead times, no minimum order quantities, and no additional supply chain costs. Highcon will share how digital finishing opens new business opportunities for converters.
