AMS Polymers showcased its range of adhesive solutions for the flexible packaging industry at PackPlus India 2026 in Pragati Maidan, Delhi, in August.

The company manufactures solvent-based and solvent-free PU adhesives for flexible packaging applications. Its solvent-based portfolio comprises high-performance and medium-performance grades, while its solvent-free range includes general-performance and medium-performance grades. The adhesives are designed primarily for film-to-film and paper-to-film applications.

Satyendra Srivastava, sales head – adhesives flexible packaging, AMS Polymers, said the company is strengthening its presence in the flexible packaging sector with its PU adhesives, while planning to expand capacity to meet growing customer demand.

The company, operating for around 30 years, has traditionally supplied adhesives to industries such as footwear, rubber and textiles. Its entry into flexible packaging is relatively recent, around five to seven years ago. According to Srivastava, the decision was driven by the sector’s growth potential.

“Packaging is a growing industry, and highly essential for all kinds of products,” he said. The widespread requirement for packaging across food and other product categories presents significant opportunities for adhesive manufacturers.

At PackPlus India 2026, the company highlighted its solvent-free and solvent-based adhesive solutions, which Srivastava identified as among the key requirements of the flexible packaging industry. He described the exhibition’s footfall as impressive, noting the event provided opportunities to engage with new customers as well as reconnect with existing ones.

“Very soon we will expand capacity. We will add more reactors to serve more customers,” Srivastava said.
