AJ Plast and Brückner Maschinenbau contracted another highlight project for a high-speed BOPP line at K Show Photo Brückner

24 October 2022, AJ Plast, a leading film producer headquartered in Bangkok in Thailand, and Brückner Maschinenbau have one of the longest-lasting partnerships in the BO industry. Its latest 15th film production line contracted from Brückner and announced during the K exhibition in Dusseldorf, is a 5-layer, 10.4 meters wide BOPP line with a line speed of 600 meters per minute and an hourly output of 7.5 tonnes.

The newest BO line project from Brückner highlights both production efficiency and an important step toward net-zero emission with its energy-saving technology and carbon reduction to enhance environmental sustainability. This technology could reduce utility energy consumption drastically while simultaneously reducing water usage. The newly designed double-air heat exchanger in the oven process is also elevated to preheat fresh air and to push energy recycling to a new level.

AJ Plast owner Kittiphat Suthisamphat says, “With our new line we increase productivity and reduce our energy consumption at the same time. That’s two of our major goals for our future film production focusing on environmental sustainability – and with Brückner at our side, we will reach them.”

Xaver Sedlmeier, Sales Director at Brueckner Group Asia-Pacific says, “We are very proud of this new project. In close cooperation, we have designed a film stretching line that is completely tailored to the needs of AJ Plast and the needs of the markets. It is always a pleasure to master challenging projects with the AJ Plast team.”

Founded in 1987, AJ Plast’s head office is located in Bangkok while its factory is located in Laem Chabang industrial estate. It is one of the large producers of high-quality films in Southeast Asia with extensive capacities for BOPP, BOPET, BOPA, CPP, and Metallized films.
