Amcor, a global supplier of responsible packaging solutions, will showcase a comprehensive range of beverage caps, closures and reusable cups at drinktec 2025, to be held in Munich from 15–19 September. The company will exhibit at Stand 250, Hall C6.
The portfolio on display will cover solutions for water, juice, soft drink and dairy applications. Key products include flat caps, sports closures, and caps designed for returnable glass and PET bottles. Amcor will also highlight a versatile selection of cups suitable for both hot and cold beverages, developed to support refillable and reusable systems.
In line with drinktec’s theme of circularity and resource management, Amcor’s presentation will focus on packaging formats that contribute to brand sustainability targets. Developments include lightweight closures, improved recyclability, and designs optimized for returnable and reusable markets.
Among the featured technologies are tethered closures engineered for cold fill and aseptic applications. These closures incorporate tamper-evident bands that remain attached after opening, reducing litter and supporting recycling. The designs meet EU requirements for tethered caps on plastic beverage bottles up to three liters. Sports closures with flip-top hinges will also be on display, offering secure resealing and user convenience.
Amcor will further present its reusable polypropylene cups and lids, created for the foodservice sector. The cups are dishwasher safe, incorporate stacking rims for efficient storage, and maintain durability and premium appearance even after multiple uses. Heat-insulating ribs provide grip, comfort and stability for hot and cold drinks. At the end of their lifecycle, the mono-material construction ensures the cups can be recycled in suitable polypropylene streams where infrastructure exists.
drinktec is recognized as the leading international trade fair for the beverage and liquid food industry, bringing together manufacturers and suppliers across the global value chain. The 2025 edition will place particular emphasis on circularity and resource efficiency as central themes.
