At the 12th Elite Speciality Films & Flexible Packaging Conference and Exhibition in Mumbai, Acme Rolltech showcased its growing capabilities in the flexographic and speciality film markets. Sandeep Sharma, the company’s director, outlined recent expansions, product innovations, and the company’s commitment to higher customer support standards.
“Elite has become one of the premier platforms for the flexible packaging industry,” Sharma said. “It brings together not only industry leaders but professionals across marketing, sales, and production. For us, it’s an opportunity to engage with the entire value chain and strengthen partnerships.”
Acme Rolltech serves multiple segments, with central impression (CI) flexo, step drive flexo, and large-size anilox rolls forming the core of its business. While narrow web is an important segment, Sharma noted that about half of the company’s market share comes from anilox rolls above 1,000 mm in size, serving CI flexo, corrugation, and speciality film coating applications.
“We are proud to be working with almost all leading film manufacturers in India for top coating and speciality film coating needs,” he said.
The company is in the midst of its third expansion at its existing site, with a new anilox manufacturing line from the UK scheduled for installation around Diwali. Once operational, Acme Rolltech will run three machines along with extensive pre- and post-finishing equipment. “With this expansion, we have brought fabrication fully in-house—not only for sleeves but now also for anilox rolls,” Sharma explained. The new line will allow Acme Rolltech to enter the embossing roller segment, with commercial production expected by January 2026.
Two-year warranty
Alongside capacity growth, the company is positioning itself as a leader in reliability. “Until now, most anilox manufacturers offered only a one-year warranty. Based on six years of extensive product trials and performance data, we are raising the bar by offering a standard two-year warranty across all our anilox rolls and sleeves—from narrow web to corrugation,” Sharma announced. He said this move reflects Acme Rolltech’s confidence in its products and its commitment to supporting customers beyond the typical warranty period.
With expanded capacity, a diversified product portfolio, and a stronger customer support framework, Acme Rolltech is reinforcing its role as a trusted partner to the flexible packaging industry in India and abroad, Sharma concluded.
