A number of Indian exhibitors are participating in K 2025, the world’s leading trade fair for plastics and rubber, taking place from October 8-15, 2025, in Düsseldorf, Germany. Notable exhibitors include Rajkot’s Rajoo Engineers, Maharashtra’s RR Plast Extrusions, masterbatch producers Alok Masterbatches and Blend Colours from Hyderabad, and Gujarat-based Machinecraft.

At K 2025, Rajoo is showcasing the latest models from its PROEX series of coextrusion blown film lines, as well as extrusion systems for the solar energy sector, marking a strategic entry into new markets beyond its traditional packaging focus.

The PROEX lines are capable of producing films at a rate of 800 kilograms per hour, with a thickness of 22 microns and a lay flat width of 2,800 mm. Featuring Relex 4.0 extruders, these lines provide low shear heat, energy efficiency, and higher yields. The dies can produce film thicknesses ranging from 20 to 200 microns and achieve line speeds of up to 150 meters per minute.

RR Plast, which recently completed the second phase of an expansion at its plant in Asangaon, near Mumbai, is conducting live demonstrations of its recycled PET sheet line, multistation pressure forming, and film recycling machines at K 2025.

Alok Masterbatch is launching green processing aids that are free of fluorinated “forever” chemicals and other compounds. The company is also strengthening its partnership with Japan’s Idemitsu Fine Composites. Additionally, Alok is unveiling a new biodegradable compound for packaging, which is described as a sustainable and easy-to-process solution aimed at helping customers meet their environmental goals.

Blend Colours is highlighting new investments and materials, including innovative additives for the recycling industry, along with a new logo and corporate identity. The brand will transition from ‘Blend Colours’ to simply ‘Blend,’ accompanied by the tagline ‘Conscious Chemistry,’ signaling a wider focus beyond just colors.
