Mumbai-based Standard Printers Providers is a supplier of a variety of solutions for the printing and packing industry and represents some of the leading brands in the business. It offers solutions such as narrow web offset machines and labels printing machines, among others. The company distributes Taiyo Kikai flexo presses in India for label and carton printing.

Together with Taiyo officials, Gaurav Sachdev of Standard Printers Providers will be present at the Taiyo stand during the upcoming IGAS 2018 event to be held at Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo from 26-31 July. “There will be many visitors from India at IGAS. The idea to participate at the event together with our principal Taiyo is to meet these Indian customers and inform them about the solutions Taiyo can offer,” says Sachdev.

At IGAS 2018, Taiyo will demonstrate two new products. The Japanese company will showcase its latest servo-driven UV flexo press, which has been specially designed to print on cartons, labels and other materials. It will also display roll-fed high-speed flat die-cutter. “Exact specification of these new launches will be disclosed only during the expo,” says Sachdev.

Talking about the response Taiyo presses have received in India, Sachdev says many convertors are now showing interest in Taiyo technology. At present there are two Taiyo presses installed in India; one was installed at Delhi’s Regal Creative late last year while the second was installed at Mumbai’s Label Solutions earlier this year.

“After having installed two machines in quick succession, we are going to install two more presses very soon. One has been ordered by a customer in Mumbai while the other has been bought by a customer from outside Mumbai,” says Sachdev.
