XSYS Earns Top CDP Climate Rating in SME Category

XSYS, a global name in flexographic plates, plate processing, and prepress solutions, has secured a CDP Climate Change score of B – the highest rating attainable for companies in the SME category. This strong result, achieved in XSYS’ first-ever public CDP disclosure, reflects the company’s accelerating momentum in climate governance and transparency.

CDP, the world’s most widely used environmental disclosure platform, evaluates companies on how effectively they measure, manage, and report their climate impact. A B rating underscores that XSYS is taking coordinated action on climate issues and demonstrating transparency on its practices.

“This is an important milestone for XSYS because it directly supports what matters to our customers: reliable, transparent, and standardized sustainability data across their value chain. I am proud of the progress we have made — from switching key production sites to renewable electricity to working closely with customers on detailed product carbon footprints that help them meet their own climate commitments. This recognition reinforces that we are on the right path, but it is only a starting point. I am committed to deepening our collaboration with customers and accelerating climate action that creates measurable value for their businesses,” said Alexander Unterschütz, CEO of XSYS.

Building on this positive trajectory, XSYS will continue to enhance data quality, deepen engagement with customers and suppliers, and drive initiatives that support its longterm business goals and its commitment to transparency and collaboration.

Headquartered in Willstaett, Germany, XSYS operates globally and is one of the largest suppliers of flexographic and letterpress prepress solutions, offering plates, sleeves, processors, workflow technologies, and expert services designed to boost innovation, productivity, profitability, and environmental performance.

Its broad portfolio includes renowned brands such as nyloflex and nyloprint plates, LAVA, ThermoFlexX, and Catena processing systems, Woodpecker screening software, rotec mounting solutions, and nylosolv washout solvents.
