Jet Technologies is strengthening its investment in Vietnam as the country’s expanding manufacturing base and packaging industry drive increased demand for advanced printing technologies and automation.

Less than two years after launching operations in Vietnam, the company has grown its active customer base by more than 250%, nearly tripled its local workforce and relocated to a new 500-square-metre office and warehouse facility to support the next stage of its expansion.

“Across Southeast Asia, we’re seeing a clear shift towards digital, flexographic and automated production as printers look for ways to improve efficiency and remain competitive,” said Jack Malki, managing director, Jet Technologies.

“Vietnam is a key part of that story, and we’ve seen strong demand from customers looking for both leading technology and local support. Our investment reflects the direction the market is heading.”

That demand is being fuelled by continued investment across the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, logistics and consumer goods sectors, creating new opportunities for suppliers that combine leading technologies with responsive local service.

To support this demand, Jet Technologies has relocated to a new facility in Ho Chi Minh City, strategically positioned closer to many of its customers’ manufacturing operations. The facility features expanded warehouse capacity, dedicated technical support areas and a purpose-built ink laboratory, enabling faster product deliveries, local color matching, product testing, customer training and increased local inventory to better support customers across Vietnam.

“As our customer base has expanded, we’ve needed to expand with it,” said Loi Huynh, country manager, Jet Technologies Vietnam.

“Being closer to our customers means we can spend more time on site, respond faster when support is needed and provide the practical technical expertise that helps them get the best performance from their equipment.”

The investment also includes the expansion of Jet Technologies’ local consumables business. Alongside its portfolio of world-leading printing and converting technologies, the company is broadening its consumables offering to include UV Flexo inks, foils and speciality films, reinforcing its strategy of delivering complete, end-to-end solutions for the narrow web flexographic printing industry. Customers can now access equipment, consumables, technical expertise, training and after-sales support through a single local partner.

Since launch, Jet Technologies has completed a number of machinery installations across Vietnam while continuing to strengthen relationships with both local and multinational customers. As investment in advanced printing, finishing and automation continues across the region, the company expects to further build its technical services, local inventory and consumables offering.

“Vietnam is an important part of our Southeast Asian business, and we see significant opportunity ahead,” said Malki.

“We’ll continue investing in our local team, technical expertise and product offering so we can support customers as the market evolves and help them take advantage of new opportunities as they emerge,” he concluded.

Jet Technologies is a specialist importer and distributor serving a range of industrial sectors. Founded over 45 years ago in Sydney, the company has expanded its operations across Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore, providing innovative solutions tailored to industry needs.
