BST eltromat India is close to signing a blanket deal to supply iPQ Center—an intelligent and integrated quality assurance solution—to an Indian customer, Tappan Patel, managingPlastIndia logo 1 director, BST eltromat India told Packaging South Asia during the recently concluded Plastindia 2018.

He informed that 11 systems will be supplied by May 2018, and another 15 will be supplied during the second half of this year and next year.

BSTe India demonstrated iPQ Center with iPQ Check & iPQ View modules as their flagship products at Plastindia. The iPQ Center combines numerous quality assurance features on a clearly designed software platform. Its uniform and intuitive control design enables a central access to various quality management features, from 100% defect detection to zoom up to dot-level to the full view of the complete repeat to color measurement, bar code verification, etc. The iPQ Center can be freely configured and upgraded according to the requirements of the application.

The unit that was shown at Plastindia will be placed at BST eltromat’s India demo center, where potential customers can bring their own rolls and run the unit so that they can have a better feel of the technology.

Talking about acceptance among Indian customers of advanced quality assurance systems like iPQ Center, Patel said that converters have realized the importance of quality being the
