Domino Printech India showcased the Ax-Series, a new range of continuous ink jet (CIJ) printers at Packex India 2017, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. We met Manish Mohindra, assistant vice president – north, at the company’s stand which was buzzing with visitors who were shown live demo of Domino’s coding technology. With pressure on the production line gaining intensity, the Ax-Series offers businesses a way to protect their margins and enhance their bottom line.

According to Mohindra, “It is a chance for Indian businesses from across verticals and geographies to find out more about the innovative Ax-Series of CIJ printers. In making the printers, we tore apart everything we knew about CIJ printing and started again from scratch, making exciting discoveries along the way. The result is a range of CIJ printers that are faster, smarter, clearer and more cost-effective than anything else in the market.”

Mohindra talked about the new i-Pulse print-head unique frequency-matched drop generator and inks, the i-Techx electronics and software platform designed to optimize customers’ return on investment and Domino Design, a fresh approach to the total product design to maximize productivity and for ease of operation, which delivers printers that are robust, reliable and easy to use in the harshest Indian environments.

Talking further about the Ax-Series printers, Mohindra said that they are Industry 4.0 ready and will comply with the current trend of automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies. In fact, the latest Ax350i was on demo at the Bosch stand at Packex in integration with the Bosch flow wrapper. Domino’s thermal transfer overprinter was integrated with VFFS, a multihead weigher of one of its OEM partners, Asian Packaging, at their stand. Also, Domino’s thermal inkjet was integrated with another OEM partner, Shubham Automation’s check weigher at their stand.
