Bobst Visionfold at the core of Sachin Corrugators and Printers expansion drive

Around the middle of last year, Surat-based corrugated, paper and paper-board packaging solutions provider, Sachin Corrugators and Printers, expanded its portfolio of products. The company was until then printing and converting only regular sari boxes but it now manufactures premium large format boxes and cartons for apparel, innerwear and electrical appliances segments. In order to support this expansion, Sachin invested in a host of finishing equipment with a brand new Bobst Visionfold 110 A2 folder-gluer being the centerpiece. “We were going for our very first folder-gluer, so we explored all options; I even visited China a couple of times. We always aspired to own a Bobst folder gluer, but always thought it was a high investment. But looking at its price to performance, we found it is affordable if one has to look in the long term and so we decided to invest for the future.
