Dot Printers installs Sakurai’s Maestro MS 102 AII

With a vision to enhance the look of printed products with impressive finishing effects, Jayesh Shah has recently founded Dot Printers at Vasai, a suburban town North of Mumbai. Shah is a new entrant in the screen print industry and provides after-printing effects on packaging, promotional and commercial products. He has created a catalog which displays many finishing effects including Spot UV, Velvet, embossing, abrasive media with varying thickness and distributed it to many printers in Mumbai region. Such value-added services by Dot Printers enhance the look and feel of rigid cartons. In September 2015, Shah initiated printing services at the 3,000 square feet production floor in Vasai and installed Sakurai’s Maestro MS 102 AII – a fully loaded screen print press with dryer along with full-fledged prepress equipment. MS 102 AII is a screen-to-cylinder press that provides maximum print size of 1,050 x 730 mm at the speed of 800 to 4,000 impressions an hour on varying thickness ranging from 50 to 800 gsm paper and polymer sheets of less than 0.8 mm thickness.…
