Navi Mumbai based manufacturer of form-fill-seal machines, heat sealers, auger filler and specialized filling systems, Wraptech Machines has launched its next generation of form-fill-seal machine—MB 350 iS. The machine is a complete intermittent servo bagger built on a Schneider platform and powered with TRIO motion control. The bagger comes equipped with a 10-inch graphic display with internet connection for quick diagnosis. The unwind of the bagger is guided by web sensors for auto film tracking. It also has a splicing table, to make the roll change-over process efficient and effective.
The new machine features a frame that has an open and sanitary design. It has two servo motors in addition to a motion controller. The machine was for the first time displayed at PackEx 2016, which was held in Mumbai in September. At the event, the machine packed 15 g of wafers at 80 packs per minute. The machine can be used to pack snacks, dairy products and other food items.
“The new solution has received a positive response from the market. We have already supplied the machine to a very big dairy in Gujarat,” says Ashish B Meghani, managing director of Wraptech. The dairy has been supplied with a complete line of the machine to pack 2 kg and 5 kg mozzarella cheese. The line is a completely washed down one and has a special servo motor which is submersible.
Meghani expects a few more orders in the coming months. Wraptech also unveiled a new multi-lane machine, which makes shaped pouches. This machine can do up to six lanes at a time and all six lanes can have different colors. These pouches can be used to pack items like shampoo, colors, oils, etc.
“The response for this machine has been equally encouraging. It has been installed at a customer facility, which is using it to pack children’s colors,” informs Meghani.
Wraptech will be promoting the new solutions at Gulffood Manufacturing, which will be held in early November in Dubai. This will be followed by an appearance at P-Mec India, which will be held in Mumbai at the end of November, and Interpack.
