Founded by Narayan Prasad Bhotica, SAPCO, acronym for Shree Arun Packaging Co. P. Ltd., is a family-owned company based in Mumbai dating to the year 1970. From letterpress to ultra-modern machinery, SAPCO updates its machine portfolio from time to time with the latest acquisition being a Komori Lithrone GL-640+C IR.

The second and third generations of the Bhotica Family now run the business. The present management team consists of Hemant Bhotica and Tushar Bhotica as directors and Vishwamdev Bhotica as technical director. Explaining why they invested in the 6-color Lithrone GL-640 with coater IR, Vishwamdev said, “We chose the brand new Komori sheet-fed offset press for enhance our packaging printing.”

We are happy and satisfied with the way Komori India is co-operating with us and guiding us to know the core capabilities and features of the brand new Lithrone GL-640 sheet-fed offset press, now running at our facility. The Lithrone GL-640 is a sheet-fed offset press, which promises substantial improvement in efficiency by reducing make-ready times and wastage. SAPCO’s production facility is well equipped with advanced pre-press systems, presses, and post-press & finishing equipment. Likewise, advanced post-press & finishing machines at the facility are for varnishing, foiling, lamination, die-cutting, punching, pasting (carton), folding (pharma inserts) and others. 

Printed cartons, corrugated cartons, plastic cartons, metpet cartons, blister cards, wrappers, to mention a few, are some key products of SAPCO, whose clients span pharmaceuticals, FMCG, food & beverage, ice cream & cold storage, garments, mobiles, stationery, cosmetics, eCommerce packaging, etc. 

“Beyond the domestic market, we export our products to international market destinations such as the US, UK, Middle East, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and many African countries,” Vishwamdev said.
