Sreevan Offset Printers installs Lombardi Synchroline 430

Vinsak has announced the installation of Lombardi Synchroline 430 at Sreevan Offset Printers in Hyderabad. Vinsak said, as a part of their service to gravure printers and brands in the region, Sreevan understood that there was a latent demand to print short-run flexibles on a narrow web press using flexo plates, which have a lower cost of origination compared to gravure. Karunakar, managing director and chief executive officer of Sreevan, said, “The ability of the Lombardi press to print from 12 microns unsupported films to 450-micron carton board material made it a natural choice for us. The market references provided were also impeccable with many customers having multiple installs of the machine which justifies that the entire eco system of Equipment, services and support was functioning well, thus enabling the convertor to succeed early.” The company plans to expand to the Shrink sleeves segment and exploit the board printing capabilities on the Synchroline.
