At the IndiaCorr Expo 2025, a specialty exhibition targeted at the corrugation and folding carton industries, held in Greater Noida on 11 to 13 September 2025, UFlex Chemicals displayed the entire water-based solutions range comprising inks, adhesives and coatings for QSR, the paper bag industry, paper cups, food wraps, food bags and all kinds of paper-based packaging applications.

UFlex Chemicals is a leading inks, adhesives, and coatings manufacturer and offers multiple solutions for flexible packaging, monocartons, labels and corrugation industries. The company provides flexible packaging inks; water-based, solvent-less and solvent-based adhesives; as well as specialty UV and LED coatings for sheetfed offset, letterpress, and narrow web applications.

UFlex promoted its Flex Aquacore Inks for surface printing on Kraft paper and uncoated paper, which finds application in all kinds of corrugated boxes, paper boxes, food wraps, pizza and burger boxes, and ruling books.

The company also showcased its Flex Aquapap, a high gloss ink series formulated for the gravure press printing market, which is said to offer high speed with excellent dot transfer on most of the paper stocks. The Flex Aqualabel inks are designed for surface printing applications on metallized paper, primed foil, and 2PE paper cups and labels.

UFlex showcased its portfolio of oil- and grease-resistant (OGR) coatings, and PE replacement coatings, including the Flex Coat, Flex Seal and Flex Prime range of coatings for various applications. These are paper cups; paper bags – including eCommerce and shopping bags; quick service restaurants and takeaways solutions such as food wraps, food boxes, paper plates, and pizza backup liners; and corrugation solutions.

Apart from its range of water-based inks and coatings, the company showcased its One Adhesive for paper bags, suitable for side pasting, bottom pasting, and handle pasting.

“At the IndiaCorr Expo, we met potential buyers from the industry. We look forward to building our associations with all global paper and paper board manufacturers to offer our innovative solutions,” Rajesh Srivastava, executive vice president, UFlex Chemicals, told Packaging South Asia.

With India banning select single-use plastic items, paper-based packaging has entered our home through eCommerce, shopping bags, and takeaway packaging from restaurants or food delivery apps, Srivastava said. These global brands have a lot of challenges because they are looking for food-safe inks and paper bags with good strength with barrier properties. Thus, good-quality adhesives and inks play a very crucial role in paper-based food packaging applications.

“The demand for water-based inks for good quality, high-speed printing is growing. Fully automatic machines are coming in. Brand owners want good quality outer packaging and corrugated packaging. This is unlike 20 years ago, when the corrugated boxes were very simple, and single-color printed, with nobody looking at their quality. Nowadays, there is a demand for world-class products and outer packaging. We want to offer solutions with unmatched quality.” Srivastava said

UFlex’ efforts toward sustainability and innovation have been recognized by the Apex Green Leaf Award 2020, Water Champion Award 2025 by CII, Energy Champion Award 2024 by CII, and the National Safety Council of India Safety Awards 2021.
