Wanjie India’s all-in-one label and flexible printing machines

Ahmedabad-based Bipin Offset (BOPL), in partnership with Beijing-based Hebei Wanjie Technology Group, presented its all-in-one WJPS- 350/450/560/680 shaftless intermittent/full rotary offset label and flexible packaging material printing machines at Bharat Print Expo 2025 in Bengaluru.

“These machines cover the entire label and flexible packaging industries, printing on 12-micron polyester films, up to 300-micron materials,” Rakesh Patel, director, explained.

The WJPS-350/450/560/680 series has been designed as versatile hybrid platforms. According to Patel, they can handle various printing jobs, making them suitable for diverse packaging applications.

“Whether it is labels or flexible packaging, these machines deliver optimum performance for both. That’s why we proudly refer to them as all-in-one machines,” he added.

Being a major printing and packaging solutions provider, Bipin Offset recently partnered with Hebei Wanjie Technology Group to establish Wanjie India. “It has been barely a year since we officially announced Wanjie India, under which we now distribute the highly flexible and efficient multi-tasking WJPS – 350/450/560/680 machines.”

Bipin Offset has first-hand experience of Wanjie’s capabilities, having installed a Wanjie offset label printing machine at its facility two years ago. The performance and reliability of the machine led Patel and his team to believe it was ideal for the Indian market, especially for businesses looking at a single platform to produce both flexible and rigid packaging.

So far, four machines have been installed in India — two in Surat, one in Haridwar, and one in Ahmedabad. The machine in Surat was installed by the China team around six years ago, while the one in Haridwar was installed recently by Wanjie India at Printwell.

“We have a strong after-sales service team that has undergone rigorous training in Hebei, China. The team is trained every six months,” Patel said.

Patel believes that offset technology, particularly for labels and flexible packaging, offers advantage over digital and flexographic in India. “This is a price-sensitive market, and our offset printing solutions offer superior cost-efficiency for medium- to high-volume production. The lower running cost, combined with high print quality, makes these machines an ideal choice for Indian converters.”

Bharat Print Expo 2025 provided an ideal platform for Bipin Offset and Wanjie India to introduce their machines to south India, which they are keen to tap.

“This was our first participation in an exhibition in South India, and it was a significant opportunity for us,” Patel said. “We received several serious inquiries and we expect these to translate into orders after potential customers visit our demo-cum-printing center at Bipin Offset’s facility in Ahmedabad.”

Wanjie India at China Print 2025

At China Print 2025, Wanjie India’s stand highlighted the WJPS-450 full rotary label & flexible packaging machine; WJRB-450mm flexographic printing machine; WJPS 700 intermittent label printing machine for 12-micron flexible film; WJPS advanced-350 intermittent offset label & flexible packaging machine; and finishing machines such as the WJMF-350 rotary die-cutting & slitting machine, among others.

Three of the machines showcases were booked by trade visitors from India. These were a semi-rotary die punching machine, a flatbed die punching machine for IML labels (450mm width flatbed die punching system with Slitter), and an inspection machine. The names of the customers will be declared after installation.

Patel expressed excitement about the increasing number of trade visitors from India at China Print 2025. “The show has reinforced its position as one of the world’s leading events for complete printing solutions.”
