UK-based packaging software solutions provider Arden Software will be exhibiting at the upcoming Lankapak to showcase its products to the Sri Lankan customers. Lankapak 2018 will take place in Colombo on 14, 15 and 16 September. The expo is being organized by the Sri Lanka Institute of Packaging together with CDC Events along with the support of government and private sector organizations.
“We do not have any presence in Sri Lanka, which is a fast growing packaging market. Like India, Sri Lanka is also witnessing a trend where commercial printers are shifting towards packaging printing. We see a lot of potential there,” says Manish Bhaskar, managing director, Asia & Africa, Arden Asia Pacific Software.
The company will focus on its flagship software ImpactCAD, used for the design, manufacture and visualization of paper-based packaging, including cartons, corrugated boxes and display solutions. Especially for die manufacturing, ImpactCAD deals with a different aspect of die-making, such as rubbering, ruling, stripping and blanking. In addition to this, Arden will also promote solutions like Impact Enterprise and WEBcnx.
Bhaskar informs that Arden Asia Pacific Software’s stand during Lankapak will have four representatives to attend to visitors’ queries. The team will also spend extra two days in Sri Lanka post the expo to meet local potential customers.
“Not only will we exhibit at Lankapak but will also spend two extra days in Sri Lanka; we hope to meet with a few potential customers,” Bhaskar says.
