At Anuga FoodTec India 2025 in Mumbai, Clearpack Group, a Singapore-based leader in turnkey packaging solutions, showcased its machinery designed to meet the needs of the FMCG sector.
In conversation with Packaging South Asia, Vishnu Puranik, product and sales director, Clearpack, presented the company as a specialist in complete end-to-end packaging solutions, serving diverse industries such as food and beverages, personal care, home care, pharmaceuticals, and agrochemicals.
From primary to secondary packaging, all the way to palletising, the company delivers integrated systems that help brands achieve efficiency, sustainability, and reliability in their production lines. “Our expertise spans from the first stage of packaging to the very end-of-line palletiser systems.”
According to him, this holistic approach is highly relevant in today’s market, where manufacturers are looking for streamlined solutions that reduce costs, save resources, and offer flexibility for multiple product formats.
At its stand, Clearpack highlighted three machinery from its portfolio that include a wraparound case packer, a cobot palletiser, and a stretch banding application.
The wraparound case packer is designed to significantly reduce the amount of cardboard used in secondary packaging, offering customers not only cost savings but also improved sustainability. “This can be used for bottles, tetra packs, or even flexibles,” Puranik said.
Clearpack’s compact, collaborative(cobot) palletiser was another highlight that — unlike traditional palletisers that require large footprints and safety fencing — seamlessly integrates into existing lines, and enhances workplace safety and efficiency.
The stretch banding application was targeted to the pharma industry. These applications ensure secure bundling of products with minimal use of materials, aligning with sustainability trends while meeting strict pharma industry standards.
“The industry in India is growing very fast. Consumer expectations are changing, the market is changing, and a lot of new players are coming in. Clearpack, being a leader in the packaging industry, is also trying to innovate in terms of what we can bring to our customers and their end consumers,” he said.
He said this growth translates into opportunities to introduce innovative technologies, add value for customers, and contribute to the evolution of packaging practices for companies such as Clearpack.
Puranik emphasized the importance of the Mumbai edition for connecting with both existing and potential customers. “This is one of the exhibitions we participate in every year. Being in Mumbai, which is a strategic location, we see a lot of customers coming in. It allows us to connect with our existing customers and meet new ones,” he said.
According to Puranik, the company is setting up a larger factory in India to support its expanding operations and customer base. The company’s strategy is to continue innovating across different industries while providing packaging solutions from primary packaging through to the end of the line. “We are focusing on innovations and how we can add value to the customer while providing a complete solution from primary till the end of life,” he added.
