The 7th International Summit for Injection, Blow, Roto and PET Moulding will take place on 19-20 June 2019 in Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai. The summit is hailed as the backbone of the plastic processing industry and enjoys sustained high growth. The industry is known to serve automotive, appliances, furniture, FMGC, food and beverage, material handling, leisure and sports businesses.

Injection, blow, roto and PET moulding together account for nearly 40 million tons of the overall Indian plastics industry, which is valued at around Rs. 102,000 crore with annual growth of almost 10%. The event will provide a number of opportunities of networking with global players. The injection, blow, roto and PET moulding industry will aim to represent approximately 25% of plastic processing industry in India. There will be 10 business sessions that will carry out question/answer spells with speakers. Sonali Kulkarni will throw light on new innovation and strategies in the injection molding industry and Ananth Narayan will forecast for the Indian economy and how India can benefit from US-China trade war.

On the second day, Venkatesh Kini will talk about plastics and sustainability and Vimal Kedia will throw light on bio plastics. Manu Anand will talk on packaging being the key differentiator. This will be followed by a gala dinner and cocktails. Leaders from the industry will also be felicitated with outstanding performance awards.

The capacity for flexible film manufacturing in India increased by 45% over the past four years. With orders in place, we expect another 20% capacity addition in 2024 and 2025. Capacities in monocartons, corrugation, aseptic liquid packaging, and labels are growing similarly. As the consumption story returns over the next six months, we expect demand to return and exceed the growth trajectory of previous years. The numbers are positive for most of the economies in the region – and as shown by our analytics, our platform increasingly reaches and influences these.
