The 13th edition of Vinyl India 2026 has reinforced its position as the world’s largest PVC summit and exhibition, drawing more than 1,150 delegates from 515 organisations across 21 countries despite ongoing geopolitical volatility.
Held in Mumbai on 9-10 April, the event brought together stakeholders from across the global PVC value chain, underlining its role as a key industry platform for business dialogue, technology exchange and strategic collaboration.
Organized by ElitePlus Business Services, the summit featured over 85 global industry leaders, policymakers and technical experts addressing a wide spectrum of themes ranging from macroeconomic outlooks to sustainability and advanced applications in the PVC sector.
The inaugural session saw participation from senior executives across leading companies, including Reliance Industries, Jain Irrigation Systems and global consulting firms such as McKinsey & Company, along with economic insights from CRISIL.
A series of business sessions addressed critical issues shaping the PVC ecosystem. Discussions ranged from market fundamentals and pricing trends to innovations in processing technologies and downstream machinery. Key sessions also examined the future of pipes and CPVC applications, with participation from companies such as Adani Petrochemicals and Lubrizol Corporation.
Sustainability and circularity emerged as a central theme, with experts highlighting evolving regulatory frameworks and the need for greener materials and recycling solutions within the Indian PVC industry. Technical sessions further explored advancements in additives, stabilizers and manufacturing processes, reflecting ongoing innovation in the sector.
Panel discussions focused on strategic transformation within the PVC industry, scaling of oriented PVC (OPVC) pipes, and emerging applications aimed at enhancing product performance. Industry leaders from companies such as Dow India and KraussMaffei Technologies GmbH contributed to these deliberations.
Beyond conference sessions, the event featured an exhibition area with over 50 booths, facilitating one-on-one business interactions and networking opportunities across dedicated zones and breakout spaces.
