The jury from the 2008 award in action as, asMike Buysted from Flint Group Narrow Web and Tony White from AWA Consulting, examine entries for final decision
Flint Group will host the Fifth Annual Narrow Web Print Awards. Label converters from all over the world are eligible. Criteria for judging includes: registration, smoothness of dot/vignette, overall print quality, and degree of difficulty. Entries will be placed in categories relating to technology and application.
This follows Labelexpo Americas in 2008, where Flint Group Narrow Web awarded fourteen companies prizes in different categories relating to technology and application.
The Award winners 2008 were: Consolidated Label (USA), Label Works (USA), Axiom Label Group (USA), Center Fix Etiquetas Adesivas Ltda. (Brazil), McDowell Label & Screen Printing (USA), Winson Press Pvt. Ltd. (Singapore), MPI – Texas (USA), Brazicolor Industria Grafica Ltda. (Brazil), Pacman (UAE), Smyth (USA), Automacao Ind. Com. De Rotulos Ltda (Brazil), Smyth (USA), SENAI – Theobadldo De Nigris -Technical School (Brazil), and Dunwoody Institute of Technology (USA).
The 2009 award winners will be announced at the Print Award Ceremony at the Flint Group booth #5B45 on Thursday, 24 September 2009, at 16:00 at the Labelexpo Europe in Brussels.
The following entry guidelines will be applied for the award:
– Each entry must be printed using inks from Flint Group Narrow Web
– Entries can be a commercial label, or a promotional label.
– Entries can be sent in roll or sheet form with no less than 100 of each label
– Entries should be received no later than August 1, 2009.
– Entries should be submitted direct to Flint Group Packaging & Narrow Web.
