Fosber Group, a global supplier of design, construction, and installation services for complete lines as well as individual machine units for producing corrugated board packaging, highlighted its advanced machinery at India CorrExpo 2025.
According to Sergio Giuntini, key account manager, Fosber Group, the main highlight was the ProLine corrugator, available in two variants –ProLine 270 and ProLine 320, widely appreciated for their efficiency, precision, and reliability.
“Our production is focused on corrugators under the ProLine range. Fosber Asia is based in Guangdong, China, and we continuously strengthen our footprint in the Indian market. We already have several installations in India, and demand here is accelerating rapidly,” he said.
He said India’s corrugated industry is evolving at a pace unmatched by many other regions. With consumption rising, the eCommerce sector expanding, and the increased focus on sustainable packaging, corrugated board has emerged as a preferred solution.
“The corrugated market in India is growing at a fast pace. Very often, companies move up from manual or semi-automatic setups to fully automated lines. This is where Fosber positions itself, serving customers seeking premium quality and high-end machinery.”
The company is investing in sales and technical teams based in India, ensuring faster service and localized support. “We are already present with a sales organization and technical experts in India. With growing demand, we aim to strengthen our presence with more machines and support infrastructure.”
Deepak Singh, who has worked in the corrugated industry for over 12 years and has been representing Fosber Asia for the past six years, said the sustainability angle makes corrugated packaging the most preferred solution.
“With India’s 1.4 billion-plus population and rising consumerism, the packaging industry is on an upward trajectory. Particularly in corrugated, we see strong growth that is driven by government norms around reducing the use of plastic and promoting a carbon-free environment,” he explained.
Fosber’s machines are energy-efficient, contributing to both operational cost savings and reduced environmental impact, he said. Singh positioned Fosber in the high-end segment, saying it is the ‘Ferrari’ of the corrugated machinery industry.
Compared Fosber’s offerings to luxury engineering, he said, “Owning a Fosber corrugator is like having a Ferrari in the industry. It brings exclusivity. The boards produced on our machines are among the best in quality, serving niche and demanding markets.”
Entering the Indian market in 2018, Fosber has already installed more than six new machines.
Quantum: innovation for the future
A key highlight of the discussion was Quantum Corrugated, a company that joined the Fosber Group in 2020. Quantum specializes in machinery designed for open flute and laminated board production, enabling converters to achieve the highest levels of print quality.
“This concept is futuristic,” Singh explained. “Quantum machinery helps customers tap niche markets where superior printing and unique flute combinations are essential. It provides a significant competitive edge and even the possibility of monopolizing specific segments.”
“Our stand at CorrExpo was full from morning to evening, which shows the level of interest,” Giuntini remarked. “India will undoubtedly be a great market for us in the coming years, and we are proud to be part of this growth journey.”
Adding to Giuntini’s statement, Singh said, “Demand is growing, and Fosber is growing with it. With our high-end machines, sustainable solutions, and innovations such as Quantum, we are here to serve the Indian industry as it moves into its next phase of growth.”
