Reed Manch Exhibitions in partnership with Reed Exhibitions Shanghai and the Indian Corrugated Case Manufacturers Association(ICCMA)is organizing the third IndiaCorr Expo-Sino Corrugated 2015 event. The exhibition and conference will be held from 6 to 8October 2015 at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida. Exhibitors from India, China, Taiwan, Italy, Japan, Korea, France, Germany and USA will be showcasing their machinery.

The last edition of IndiaCorr Expo was attended by 5,331 trade visitors from 25 countries and featured 125 exhibitors and over 260 live solutions. The majority of visitors were from about 43 Indian cities indicating that IndiaCorr Expo attracts the widest audience. “The show this year is going to be the biggest so far with over 130 Indian and international
companies displaying their latest technology to upgrade the corrugated and folding carton sector in India. I am happy to see IndiaCorr Expo becoming an event with exclusive buyers from this niche sector. The best thing about our show is that whoever walks into the
show floor is a potential buyer of our exhibits. This USP of the show has been instrumental in making this event the only place forlarge corrugators to come and source machinery, raw material and IT support for running their operations,” says Vineet Mahajan, managing director, Reed Manch Exhibitions.

The ICCMA Congress will be held on 6 and 7 October at the same venue. The theme of this year’s conference, ‘A SWOT Perspective of the Indian Corrugated Packaging Industry,’ will highlight the importance of the corrugated sector in the entire value chain of the packaging industry, explore new horizons in perishable product packaging and cost optimization by automation. The last Congress was attended by over 350 delegates, from across the country and overseas.

“We are happy to be back with IndiaCorr Expo this year in Greater Noida. I am confident that this year’s ICCMA Congress would be bigger and better than the last two editions. Our team is working hard to make this conference an ideal platform for knowledge sharing and networking.” says Kirit Modi, president, ICCMA. The event isuseful for corrugators, printers, consultants, designers and professionals from allied sectors. IndiaCorr Expo 2015 is a good opportunity for business networking, learning and reaching out to the right audience.

The impact, resilience, and growth of responsible packaging in a wide region are daily chronicled by Packaging South Asia.

A multi-channel B2B publication and digital platform such as Packaging South Asia is always aware of the prospect of new beginnings and renewal. Its 16-year-old print monthly, based in New Delhi, India has demonstrated its commitment to progress and growth. The Indian and Asian packaging industries have shown resilience in the face of ongoing challenges over the past three years.

As we present our publishing plan for 2023, India’s real GDP growth for the financial year ending 31 March 2023 will reach 6.3%. Packaging industry growth has exceeded GDP growth even when allowing for inflation in the past three years.

The capacity for flexible film manufacturing in India increased by 33% over the past three years. With orders in place, we expect another 33% capacity addition from 2023 to 2025. Capacities in monocartons, corrugation, aseptic liquid packaging, and labels have grown similarly. The numbers are positive for most of the economies in the region – our platform increasingly reaches and influences these.

Even given the disruptions of supply chains, raw material prices, and the challenge of responsible and sustainable packaging, packaging in all its creative forms and purposes has significant headroom to grow in India and Asia. Our context and coverage engulf the entire packaging supply chain – from concept to shelf and further – to waste collection and recycling. We target brand owners, product managers, raw material suppliers, packaging designers and converters, and recyclers.

In an admittedly fragmented and textured terrain, this is the right time to plan your participation and marketing support communication – in our impactful and highly targeted business platform.
