Due to the increasing threat of coronavirus, Messe Essen has postponed Metpack 2020 that was scheduled to take place from 5 to 9 May 2020. The last three days of the event was supposed to coincide with interpack 2020 that is organized by Messe Dusseldorf that has also been postponed according to a press release issued by its organizer. Metpack is a packaging trade fair that focuses mainly on metal packaging and most of the new production processes, machinery and practices make their debut at the event. New dates for Metpack will be announced by Messe Essen at a later stage.
