Misumi India showcased its portfolio of factory automation, motion, and conveyor solutions at PackPlus India 2026, held at Delhi’s Pragati Maidan in August, focusing on solutions for packaging OEMs and automated machinery applications.

Misumi, a Japanese-origin company, operates as both a manufacturer and an eCommerce platform, offering its own products as well as products from other brands. The company’s portfolio covers factory automation and mold-related products, with solutions spanning linear motion, rotary motion, actuators, electrical components and conveyor systems.

At PackPlus 2026, Misumi displayed a range of products designed for machine movement and automation. The exhibition stand featured free roller and motorised roller conveyors, with the latter designed for powered material movement. The company showcased standard belt conveyors along with conveyor components such as belts, motors and rollers.

The linear motion portfolio on display included rails, linear guides, linear shafts, ball screws, linear bushings and geared products with housing. Misumi highlighted linear motor actuators, which can be used in applications such as pick-and-place operations.

Explaining the company’s offering, Mukul Tomer, manager-ME sales, Misumi India, said, “We usually have all the products related to factory automation.”

The company’s electrical portfolio includes induction motors, stepper motors and servo motors, along with drivers and accessories. Other products displayed included chains, sprockets and cable carriers for motion applications, while master wheels, levelling feet and adjuster pads were showcased as machine-support and movement components.

Misumi presented area sensors for sensing and safety applications in special-purpose machines and other equipment.

Automation demand across industries

Tomer sees automation adoption extending across a wide range of Indian industries. “The acceptance, the requirement is almost everywhere,” he said, pointing to the automotive, FMCG, pharmaceutical and packaging industries as examples.

For Misumi, packaging OEMs were a particular focus at PackPlus. The company is targeting machine builders that use automation components such as motor actuators, belt conveyors, linear guides and bushings in their equipment.

Expanding conveyor solutions

Misumi is working on expanding its product offering. Tomer highlighted the company’s plan to introduce modular belts in the coming period.

We are planning to launch modular belts in the coming period, which are mainly used in conveyor solutions for FMCG products,” he said.

The planned modular belt offering is mainly aimed at FMCG applications, strengthening Misumi’s presence in conveyor and material-movement solutions.
