Like the previous location, the new plant in Bidadi will continue to be the lead plant for the production of singe cylinder common rail pumps along with conventional fuel injection pumps. In 2015, Bosch has started the production of the common-rail fuel injection system pump in Bidadi, and by 2016-17 the production of the new version of the common rail fuel injection pump is expected.
In its new plant Bosch will apply Industry 4.0 to optimize manufacturing processes. Due to data analytics and data mining projects, it is possible to prevent disruptions to the process and thus gain additional production hours. Moreover, Bosch is a leading global provider and exponent of connected industry solutions. The company offers a broad range of solutions such as drives, automation solutions, sensors, software, and predictive maintenance.
