The 19th edition of PackPlus 2025 commenced on 1 July at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Celebrating nearly two decades of excellence, PackPlus 2025 showcases the entire value chain of packaging—from raw materials and material conversion to filling systems and final packaging solutions—bringing together leading voices from the sector under one roof.

This year’s edition offers an immersive experience for attendees, with live product demonstrations, technology showcases and expert-led panel discussions. As the industry stands at the cusp of transformation, the event focuses on the future of sustainable packaging, regulatory frameworks, and innovation in materials and design.

The opening day featured high-impact panel discussions that addressed key industry challenges and opportunities. The session on “Legibility and Transparency” brought attention to evolving regulatory standards in packaging and printing, underscoring the importance of consumer-friendly design and compliance.

‘Future Ready – Innovating for the Next Decade of Packaging’ explored how the sector is preparing for a new era through eco-conscious practices and interactive packaging concepts. Another compelling session, ‘An Eco-Friendly Unboxing Experience,’ focused on the industry’s collective journey towards achieving 100% recyclability and promoting material reuse.

Meanwhile, the discussion on ‘Industry 4.0’ shed light on how AI and IoT are reshaping packaging innovation and operational efficiency. Yves Jansen, application sales manager at mtu Kinetic PowerPack, a Rolls-Royce solution, effectively presented on Dynamic UPS Systems, highlighting how kinetic energy safeguards sensitive processes and equipment.

Industry leaders and experts such as Nayandeep Banerjee (Pernod Ricard India), Swati Gupta (Amway), Kirtiraj K. Gaikwad (IIT Roorkee), Rajat Wahi (CPG & Retail), Tanweer Alam, director, Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP), Suresh Goel, CEO, Bikanervala Foods and Shailendra Singh (Sustain Mantra) brought deep insights and actionable perspectives to the forum. Their collective expertise added depth to the conversations on future-readiness, sustainability, and consumer-centric design.
