DGM has used the Pamex 2026 platform to place the spotlight firmly on Braille embossing and inspection technologies alongside die-cutting solutions. The company has also announced multiple deals on the first day of the show.

At this year’s Pamex, the company formally launched its inline Braille and inspection systems for the Indian market, offering converters flexible configurations that allow Braille, inspection, and folder-gluing functions to be deployed individually or in combination. The solution can be configured as a standalone Braille or inspection, or integrated as Braille with inspection, Braille with folder gluer, or a complete three-function setup.

A key highlight is DGM’s five-line Braille system, introduced in India. Unlike conventional Braille units that are fixed to a single panel position, DGM’s system allows the Braille embossing roller to move across panels. This enables embossing on the front, back or side panels of cartons, offering greater flexibility for pharmaceutical and regulated packaging applications.

On the show floor, DGM demonstrated the Technocut 1050S die cutter, equipped with stripping and a gripper waste removal system. The company is also presenting its Smart Braille solution integrated with inspection, branded as Smart Braille.

While no folder gluer is being showcased this year, Puneet Agarwal of DGM India said that folder-gluing technology is already well-established in its Indian installations, and the focus at Pamex is deliberately on expanding awareness of its Braille and inspection capabilities. The Braille and inspection systems can be retrofitted onto existing folder gluers, including Smart Fold installations that are already in operation on the market.

“Pamex continues to be a strong platform for DGM, with the majority of visitors coming from western and southern India—regions that form the company’s core customer base,” Agarwal said.

Pamex deals

DGM secured multiple combo orders at Pamex 2026, reflecting sustained demand for integrated post-press solutions in the Indian packaging market.

Multivision Packaging, based in Vasai, booked a combo deal comprising the SmartFlute 1450 automatic flute laminator, the Technocut 1050S automatic die cutter with waste removal, and the TechnoFold 1100PC automatic folder gluer.

The Miracle Group also confirmed a combo order as part of its 2026 expansion plans. The order includes the Technocut 1050S automatic die cutter with waste removal and the SmartFold 1100PC automatic folder gluer.
