Vinsak demonstrated live its USAR (universal slitter and rewinder), which is meant for high-resolution security printing with customizable finishing solutions, at Pamex Mumbai.
Slitter rewinder, die cutting, semi-rotary die-cut, 100% inspection/inkjet system can be configured on it as per customer requirements. The machine runs up to 300 meters per minute.

“The USAR is a dedicated finishing solution for narrow web segments. But we now offer this in an one-meter configuration for wide web applications,” said Ranesh Bajaj, director of Vinsak.
Vinsak also talked about the Lombardi presses. “Lombardi just launched a press for the wide web segment. So the focus is now firmly on the wide web industry,” Bajaj said.
Talking about Pamex, he said the first day was slow but then the footfall picked up. “The show has been excellent,” he concluded.
