Zenith Rollers, a manufacturer of rollers for the printing, flexible packaging, paper, and steel industries, displayed its SuperFlex compound for inking and dampening rollers along with its range of rollers and sleeves at Pamex 2023 in Mumbai.
Director Anish Kumar Gupta said business was better this time compared to the previous Pamex. The Delhi-based company is more than four decades old, having 20 manufacturing facilities with a production capacity of more than 3,000 rollers per day.
The footfall, however, didn’t meet Zenith’s expectations, “The previous edition of Pamex in 2020 looked better for us as the footfall was better. So I think this edition wasn’t as promising in terms of footfall. However, in terms of business, I think this one was a little better. We received numerous inquiries and cracked four deals, three of which are for domestic production and one for export,” Gupta said.
Speaking on the otherdifferences between both editions, Gupta said, “There weren’t many noticeable differences. The spectacle and rush are both quite the same. But, looking at it from a business perspective, I’ll say that the changes not being visible are a testament to the consistency in the industry. The industry seemed more confident and more welcoming this time around.
