W&H promotes FFS bags for petrochemicals industry at Plastivision 2020

At Plastivision 2020, held from 16-21 January at BEC, Mumbai, Windmoeller & Hoelscher promoted its form fill seal (FFS) bags for free-flowing materials with a focus on petrochemicals (polymer granules). The machines for bagging these materials in FFS bags are marketed by AVENTUS Global, a joint venture between Haver & Boecker and Windmoeller & Hoelscher. AVENTUS is a specialist in solutions for packing of free-flowing materials up to finished pallets. “FFS bags for bagging polymers is a popular concept globally but in India woven bags are the preferred choice. However, we see this changing in coming years as more and more polymer manufacturers opt for FFS bags. At Plastivision 2020, we spoke about FFS bags for polymers and also AVENTUS, which is the most preferred supplier globally for such equipment,” said Anuj Sahni of Windmoeller & Hoelscher India.
