Epson showed two new inkjet wide format printers at it stand at IGAS. The first was the new 10-color Spectroproofer which contains a built-in X-Rite spectrophotometer. Out- standing proofs were being shown at the stand while another Spectroproofer was also being used at Fuji’s IGAS stand to demonstrate its color-matching workflow.

The second new Epson printer at the show was the Surecolor SC-S70650 signage printer. The 10-color printer features two groups of staggered MicroPiezo TF heads for high speed
at the very highest quality. There are many new features in the operation of this printer for easy lifting and handling of the paper rolls and an extremely efficient infra-red drying system. There are simple and automatic adjustments of new media including paper feed and head-to-head adjustment for good media registration.
