It can be run 24 x 7 for efficient short-run production. The director of Pyramid Packaging, Sachin Modi, says, “The USP of the Esko Kongsberg XP24 sample maker and software solution at Pyramid is that it processes a wide array of materials with a very short set-up time and at extraordinary throughput and speed. There is no need to wait for a die. In addition, a wide range of very versatile tools are available offering a complete packaging, signage and display (POP) solution with a single machine. The integration with the CAD editor allows us to run jobs from a single unit to full-scale production with as many as 1,000 units in a day. The XP’s production power and quick change of tools ensures on-time delivery, every time, even for complex jobs.”

Good quality at a high speed defines the Esko Kongsberg XP Series. Combined with Esko’s industry standard ArtiosCAD software, it is one of the best digital finishing solutions in the industry. The  Kongsberg XP24 compliments the technologically advanced infrastructure that the Horizon Packs Group has established over the years across India. Esko’s India sales director, Shrihari Rao, acknowledged that being associated with Pyramid Packaging and the Horizon Packs Group has been very rewarding. “What is very striking is how we at Esko feel connected and totally in sync with the vision of the Horizon Packs Group which is, ‘To have a presence in all emerging markets with advanced infrastructure for maintaining sustainable growth.’ The Horizon Packs mission statement could also very well be our own, ‘To deliver operational excellence and non-compromising quality by providing optimal packaging solutions.’”
