Kochi-based Grafique Printers started its packaging division in 2011 in rented premises with a second-hand press, a handfed diecutter, a lamination machine and a folder-gluer. It moved to new premises of its own in 2013 and went in for significant expansion earlier this year, by installing a brand new Suprasetter 106 CtP with a Proman Workflow system. Also added this year were a refurbished Heidelberg CD 102 6-color press with coater supplied by Heidelberg India, a new Bobst Ambition 106 A-2 folder-gluer and a Polar 115 PF cutting machine. “We have a mix of customers. We supply to some of the major FMCG companies as well as SMEs, but we don’t discriminate between them. We intend to provide quality service to our customers,” says Stephen Devassy, managing director of Grafique Printers.
