In the past two years, we have observed a growth rate of around 15-20% per annum. Manugraph is India’s leading manufacturer of web offset presses, having expertise in manufacturing complex machinery over the years while Carraro is a known name in CI Flexo machines. We are quite sure that ‘Made in India’ machines backed by reliable Italian technology will definitely generate good customer roll-out.”
Kadam further added that Multigraph’s infrastructure and its sales & service network across the globe will immensely benefit from the new venture. He believes that the alliance will be a great success as customers can avail benefits of local services and reasonable foreign exchange saving involved in import procedure.
Being in the first phase of this alliance, a brand-new machine completely made out of Carraro’s facility in Italy will be imported to initiate the process of transfer of technology. Thereafter, Manugraph will gradually start manufacturing certain aggregates of this machine at its Kolhapur facility. Eventually, only CI Drum and the deck will be procured from Carraro while the rest of the machine aggregates will be manufactured by Manugraph. Experts from Carraro will run quality checks on the initial few machines rolled out from Manugraph’s facility to ensure that the best quality product is delivered to the end user. Thereafter, regular indigenous production of the machine will start.
The first CI Flexo machine under this alliance will be ready by the end of this year for official launch and an Open House will be held to witness the performance of the machine.
