Suba Solutions is a supplier of paperboard and corrugated board packaging equipment in India. The company has been in operation for the last 16 years. At PackPlus 2019, Suba Solutions displayed a V-cut window patcher. “The machine can accurately window-patch pre-printed films and emboss on those films. With a maximum width of 650 mm, the machine runs at approximately 5,000 cartons per hour. We have already sold this machine to Punjab Printing Press and it is here at PackPlus that we’re announcing the deal. We were in talks with Punjab Printing Press for the last few months and have recently closed the deal that we’re making public at this platform,” says V Vaidyalingam, director of Suba Solutions.

The company also displayed an offline blanker for blanking die-cut sheets that was also sold to Punjab Printing Press. Suba has been selling older versions of the same machine for the last three years.

Delhi-based Punjab Printing Press supplies cartons for the packaging industry. “We purchased the machines to increase our production and to do innovative jobs. Basically, we’re the first customers of this new model in India. We produce close to 2 lakh cartons per day. Besides the two new machines we have ordered, our unit already has a 6-color plus coater Komori sheetfed offset press, two Maxima die-cutting machines, two Heidelberg hot foil cylinders, one Heidelberg double color press, two carton pasting machines, one automatic lamination machine and two manual lamination machines,” says Balbir Singh of Punjab Printing Press.

Talking about Suba, he says, “Suba is providing best-in-market solutions. We’ve been associated with them for the last ten years. According to my study, Suba has always provided the best machines that have helped increase the profitability of my business. With the new blanking machine, my labor cost will go down significantly and my production will increase threefold. The packaging industry is booming. The industry is such that it is bound to grow. The growth of a particular company depends on the passion of the person who runs it and the ethics one follows in his business.”
