Bemis Company recently launched its latest innovation, EncoreT ultra-clear recyclable film, a clear, recyclable standup pouch packaging which combines recyclable material with shelf-appealing transparency. The technology claims to help Consumer Packaged Goods (CPGs) to attract consumers while achieving the sustainability goals of their businesses.
John Wilson, market manager, Bemis said, “CPGs can feel confident with EncoreT ultra-clear recyclable film; it can provide the clarity and transparency demanded by shoppers, and still run on most standard existing manufacturing equipment.” The new Bemis innovation provides the benefits of a standard standup pouch with improved recyclability. It can also incorporate convenience features, such as press-to-close zippers.
EncoreT ultra-clear recyclable film is made of polyethylene, which was designed to be recycled through existing How2Recycle store drop-offs. This technology offers benefits of low haze, good stiffness and high gloss. EncoreT ultra-clear recyclable film is currently available across multiple markets, including dish detergent pods, pet food and treats, confection items and more.
