The international jury of the renowned trade journal Lürzer’s Archive has chosen Zanders, an expert in high-quality special papers and cardboards in Germany, along with its perfume packaging sample Zanpack touch, amongst the ‘200 Best Packaging Design Worldwide 2017/2018.’ The dummy designed for Zanders by Düsseldorf advertising agency zinnobergruen, with its eye-catching material design, has made it into the popular book series of the same name, ‘200 Best,’ by Lürzer’s Archive and therefore onto the world stage of creation. The special is available in 50 countries and gives advertisers an insight into the top packaging innovations of the past few years.
The sample packaging by Zanders is particularly characterized by the contrasting interplay of glossy and matt effects. “The strong contrast between the gleaming color effects of the hot foil processing and the naturally coarse, uncoated surface of the Zanpack touch cardboard quality is an immediately positive eye-catcher,” says John Tucker, sales director at Zanders. “Zanpack touch has excellent stiffness as well as exceptional finishing options from punching and embossing to elaborate foil finishing. All these properties offer the ideal basis for the perfect appearance at the point of sale.”
In order to give a clear view of the properties of its cardboard qualities, along with the Zanpack packaging samples, Zanders also has application examples of the Chromolux premium box. Folding box manufacturers, branded companies and designers can request the dummies as well as the sample swatches and collections from Zanders.
