Manugraph India Limited, a leading manufacturer of web offset printing machines has entered into a strategic alliance with CI Flexo machine manufacturer C&C Flexo (Carraro) to commence the manufacturing of CI Flexo machine, Cyber Flex 2610-860.

These two manufacturing hubs also have many companies involved in a range of segments in the packaging space. Pentaflex Films is a new entrant in the field of converting and is based in Vadsar. Although a new player in its space, Pentaflex Films’ management consists of highly experiences professionals from the packaging films business. Two of the four directors at Pentaflex Films, Prakash Patel and Mukesh Makwana, have been managing Ikon Multipack, which has been manufacturing 3-layer polyethylene (PE) films since the last 14 years. The other two directors of Pentaflex Films are Anand Patel and Jitendra Bhat. Prakash Patel’s son Darshan Patel, who recently joined the firm, is looking after the administrative department.

The Koenig & Bauer Group sells almost 70% of its new presses with printing, marking, finishing and further processing technologies in the growing packaging market. Four companies from the KBA Group will be presenting a selection from their wide range of solutions at this year’s interpack in Düsseldorf, on a joint stand in Hall 12.

Soft-spoken and knowledgeable, Manish Munot first visited the K exhibition in Dusseldorf in 2003 where he saw an array of high-tech presses including the Bobst F&K CI flexo press, which seemed at the time the stuff of dreams for a relatively new packaging company. At the recent K event in Dusseldorf in October 2016, Vardhaman Polyfims was able to take an important step in realizing its ambitious plans as Manish signed up for a Bobst F&K 20SIX 8-color CI flexo press. The 400 m/min  press will arrive in Ahmednagar in March for installation and commissioning by May 2017.

 

At the recently held K-Plastics & Rubber exhibition in Dusseldorf, Germany, Manugraph announced its plans to manufacture CI flexo presses in India. Manugraph will now be able to offer ‘made in India’ CI flexo machines to the Indian market in partnership with the world renowned Italian brand Carraro & Carint. Manugraph is in exclusive partnership with Carraro to manufacture flexo machines in India.
