Smart Packaging Solutions for Digitalization, Supply Chain and Sustainability – 16 November 2021

AIPIA online conference on Digitalization in Packaging

This November 16th AIPIA brings you the premier event for the Smart Packaging sector: Smart Packaging Solutions for Digitalization, Supply Chain and Sustainability. The event promises to be a (data) mine of information about how digital, connected packaging is disrupting the way Brand owners can use their packaging for consumer engagement, traceability, product security and even sustainable solutions.

Investment in these technologies is set to accelerate as CPG producers have to meet the demands of consumers to be more connected with the goods they buy and want assurances about authenticity and provenance. And Brand Owners need more accurate metrics to understand what motivates consumers to keep buying their products.
Additionally, supply chains across the globe are under pressure as the pandemic still has a negative effect on the world economy in unforeseen ways. Better control of the flow and distribution of goods and fighting against counterfeiting has never been more important. Join Aptar, Digimarc, Dimaco, Scanbuy, Systech, Talkin’ Things and Wiliot, among others, to gain some real insights into Smart Packaging solutions for all these issues.
Watch out for further exciting developments which only AIPIA is able to deliver; coming shortly! For full details of the agenda, which continues to be updated in real time, FOLLOW THIS LINK

“We are not offering gimmicks or early bird discounts,” said Eef de Ferrante, managing director of AIPIA, “What we can promise is the strongest Smart Packaging solutions agenda on offer at any event in 2021 and we will be ready to bring back a live event in Amsterdam in 2022.”

Be sure to book your place and join the finest solutions and service providers in Smart Packaging. Make a note of the date and put it in your agenda now: 16th November 2021. More details of speakers and presentation will be available in the next ‘Congress Special’ newsletter.

The Covid-19 pandemic led to the country-wide lockdown on 25 March 2020. It will be two years tomorrow as I write this. What have we learned in this time? Maybe the meaning of resilience since small companies like us have had to rely on our resources and the forbearance of our employees as we have struggled to produce our trade platforms.

The print and packaging industries have been fortunate, although the commercial printing industry is still to recover. We have learned more about the digital transformation that affects commercial printing and packaging. Ultimately digital will help print grow in a country where we are still far behind in our paper and print consumption and where digital is a leapfrog technology that will only increase the demand for print in the foreseeable future.

Web analytics show that we now have readership in North America and Europe amongst the 90 countries where our five platforms reach. Our traffic which more than doubled in 2020, has at times gone up by another 50% in 2021. And advertising which had fallen to pieces in 2020 and 2021, has started its return since January 2022.

As the economy approaches real growth with unevenness and shortages a given, we are looking forward to the PrintPack India exhibition in Greater Noida. We are again appointed to produce the Show Daily on all five days of the show from 26 to 30 May 2022.

It is the right time to support our high-impact reporting and authoritative and technical information with some of the best correspondents in the industry. Readers can power Packaging South Asia’s balanced industry journalism and help sustain us by subscribing.
