Echaar Equipments' Flexosmart HR 300 8-color CI flexo press

Echaar Equipments will showcase its latest central impression (CI) flexographic printing technologies and workflow solutions at Flexo Summit Asia 2026, scheduled to be held on 5 and 6 August at the Hilton Bengaluru Embassy Manyata Business Park in Bengaluru.

The company said it would use the platform to engage with industry stakeholders while highlighting developments in gearless CI flexographic presses, Extended Colour Gamut (ECG) printing, automation, and workflow optimization.

“The biggest opportunity lies in the growing global demand for sustainable packaging, superior print quality, and higher manufacturing efficiency. Flexography has evolved into a highly capable printing technology that meets these expectations,” said Kirti Panchal, managing director of Echaar Equipments.

Panchal noted that while the industry continues to evolve, technology adoption must be accompanied by improvements in operational capabilities.

“The key challenge is enabling converters to adopt advanced technologies while simultaneously upgrading skills, process control, and standardization. Success depends on developing the complete ecosystem rather than investing in machinery alone,” he said.

According to Panchal, the company has spent more than three decades investing in innovations aimed at improving productivity and print quality while supporting sustainable manufacturing practices.

“For over three decades, Echaar has continuously invested in innovation to deliver world-class CI Flexo printing solutions. Our focus extends beyond machine manufacturing to providing complete printing solutions that include automation, workflow optimization, ECG, process standardization, and sustainable production practices. Our goal is to help customers maximise productivity while consistently achieving international print quality standards,” he said.

At the summit, Echaar will discuss its latest developments in gearless CI Flexo technology, ECG implementation, inline coating solutions, advanced automation, and intelligent workflow enhancements.

“These innovations are designed to help converters improve productivity, reduce waste, and achieve greater process consistency,” Panchal said.

Sharing the message he hoped to convey to delegates, Panchal said the industry’s future will depend on integrating technology with people, processes, and data.

“Flexography has entered a new era. Today’s success depends not only on equipment but on integrating technology, people, process, and data. Converters who embrace automation, standardisation, color management, and continuous improvement will lead the industry’s future,” he said.

Looking ahead, Panchal expects ECG, automation, AI-assisted process optimisation, digital workflow integration, and sustainable printing technologies to have the greatest impact on the industry over the next three to five years.

“Equally important will be the industry’s shift towards viewing printing as an integrated ecosystem, where machines, anilox rolls, plates, inks, color management, operator skills, and process standardisation work together to deliver world-class results,” he said.

Encouraging industry professionals to attend the event, Panchal described the summit as an opportunity to learn from global experts and exchange practical knowledge.

“The Flexo Summit is one of the best platforms to learn from global experts, understand emerging technologies, exchange practical experiences, and build valuable business relationships. Whether you are a converter, supplier, or brand owner, the knowledge shared at the summit can help improve competitiveness and prepare your business for the future,” he said.

Summing up Echaar’s approach to flexographic printing, Panchal said, “A world-class print is never produced by a machine alone. It is the outcome of a complete ecosystem—machine, anilox, plates, inks, colour management, process standardisation, and well-trained operators working in perfect harmony.”
