Flexbinder AHNFF-18 is a hard, non-film forming acrylic copolymer emulsion engineered as a high-gloss extending vehicle for water-based flexographic and gravure inks and overprint varnishes. With a high glass transition temperature (Tg) of 98°C and a solids content of 46.0–48.0%, this grade is ideally suited for applications requiring exceptional hardness and non-blocking characteristics.Â
It is very hard polymer, thereby necessary to modify by addition of coalescing agent or Soft emulsion (SA-12) & film-forming emulsion (AFF-15) to enable film formation at normal operating temperature.
